Make Your Own Glow Lantern Kit - Everything you need for a Complete Lantern

The Carnival Papers Lantern Kit contains everything you need to make a 50cm pyramid glow lantern.

The make your own lantern kit uses Carnival Papers Wet Strength Tissue Paper. This special tissue paper is used the world over to create magnificent tissue lanterns, that once a light is added, will glow beautifully.

Now you can make your glow lantern just like the ones you have seen at Winter Festivals. Make the lantern, add the included electric tealight & you are ready to go! Take on a parade as part of a festival or use to decorate your home!

Each make your own lantern kit is delivered in a lovely gift box (55 x 39 cm) - making it the perfect gift!

In the box, you will find:
5x Sheets of Carnival Papers Wet Strength Tissue Paper
6x Willow (Withie) Sticks
1x 150ml PVA glue
1x Glue brush
6x Florist wire
1x Roll of masking tape
1x Electric tealight.

Everything you need to make a glowing lantern, with a few extras of everything as we know crafting isn't an exact science! 

Also in the box is a set of easy-to-follow instructions detailing every step to make an amazing lantern & a link to a video walking you through the whole thing!

Willow sticks are a natural product, cut to length so you can make a triangle based pyramid lantern. Use the masking tape to secure the joints & make a sturdy pyramid. Then layer over Wet Strength Tissue Paper to cover the structure.

Carnival Wet Strength Tissue Paper is a special tissue paper, that maintains strength when wet and then dries to a firm translucent finish.

Once you have painted over your diluted PVA glue, allow to dry & then you will have a beautiful translucent lantern. Use the florist wire to attached your electric tealight to create a magnificent glow! You can also use fairy lights & LEDs if you prefer.
